Inside these pages you will find all sorts of information about the DRIP Project that started in 2005 and involves partnership work between a group of people in the UK and the Ugandan Red Cross, working in Pallisa; a small town in the east of Uganda.
We wanted to share with you some of the experiences we have had, and how ordinary people like us can make such a difference, by just being us!
In these links you'll find info on some of our events and news that have been published...
These are the principals of the Drip core message;
Climate change causing changed rainfall patterns
Decreased production for farmers
Need to manage water
Harvesting rainwater from domestic dwellings
Water for irrigation
Education on farming irrigation
Increased crop production
Improved livelihoods
All our projects are funded by ourselves and by donations from people that trust on what we do! For this reason, we have set up a secure paypal system to help us to make this projects happend.
If you believe you could help us, we and the future direct beneficiaries "the ugandans" would incredibly apreciate it!
Thanks for your donations, any amount donated will make such a difference!
We hope enjoy looking through the pages, and would love to hear any comments you might have for us about this site, and how we can improve on it, so you can email us by clicking on the link below. info@dripuganda.co.uk
